A dive into the past at the Reggia di Venaria Reale

La Venaria Reale, with its splendid Royal Palace, a Baroque jewel, is a true architectural masterpiece just ten minutes by car from Turin. Once the residence of the Savoy family, it includes the village around the Royal Palace, the immense front gardens and the owned forest. An unmissable path for lovers of outdoor activities who do not want to forgo a dip in the refinement of bygone times.

 

Ascend to the Monte dei Cappuccini

Not far from the historic center, on the right bank of the Po River, this enchanting hill rises where the Church of Santa Maria al Monte stands. The view from the Monte’s belvedere is one of the most beautiful in the city, allowing you to glimpse the Turin hills, the Mole, Superga, the Alps, the Gran Madre di Dio church, Valentino Park and much more. Getting there is very easy and green: you can ascend to Monte with a walk of about twenty minutes starting from the magnificent Piazza Vittorio Veneto, crossing the Vittorio Emanuele I bridge.
